Lilongwe Team Strategy Meeting
In August 2024, the Makazi Foundation proudly hosted its first-ever strategy meeting for the Lilongwe team. This milestone gathering marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Foundation’s presence in Lilongwe and the central region of Malawi.
About the project
Starting point
The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss the strategic expansion of Makazi’s programs in the region. Team members engaged in an open and insightful dialogue, emphasizing the importance of conducting thorough needs assessments before launching any new initiatives.
This forward-thinking approach will enable the Foundation to better align its interventions with the real needs of the communities it serves, ensuring maximum impact and sustainability.
Vision Alignment
The discussion also reflected the team’s commitment to the Foundation’s 2030 goals, including scaling community engagement, enhancing program effectiveness, and ensuring that every initiative is rooted in evidence and local relevance.
This foundational meeting not only strengthened the Lilongwe team’s direction, but also reaffirmed Makazi’s vision for inclusive, data-driven development across Malawi.
